Position Highlights:

Trauma: This 45- bed med-surg unit provides careto trauma patients with a focus on the acute andchronic needs of hemodynamically and medicallystable patients. This fast-paced unit focuses on acuteand chronic needs of trauma patients admitted fromthe Emergency Department, transferred from theICU, or admitted from surgical or procedural services.

Full- Time & Part- Time

Days 12 hr shifts 7a-7p

Nights 12 hr shifts 7p-7a

Certified Nursing Assistant

Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 16 years of age required.

Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska.

Demonstrated effective communication skills required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nursing Assistant

Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 years of age required.

High school education or equivalent required.

Six months experience in  

patient care required or must be enrolled in nursing program.

Demonstrated effective communication skills required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) upon completion of unit orientation required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct patient care experience preferred.

Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Nursing Assistant

Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.

patient care required or must be enrolled in nursing program.
