Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients' day-to-day needs and improving their quality of life. Duties include:

Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Monitoring and reporting changes in client’s physical and emotional condition
Providing mobility assistance and transferring clients safely
Taking and recording vital signs as directed
Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Promoting a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Collaborating with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare staff to provide coordinated care
Upholding client confidentiality and Serenity Signature Health’s standards of excellence

Qualifications & Requirements

Active CNA certification in the state of Illinois
Current CPR/BLS certification
1+ year of experience in a healthcare or home health setting preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if working in home health)
Ability to lift, transfer, and provide physical support to clients as needed
