Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – San Jose, CA
Location: San Jose, California
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $37.30 – $44.77 per hour + bonus + equity

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary care team in San Jose. In this role, you will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to deliver restorative and rehabilitative services, helping participants maximize independence, improve safety, and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Administer treatment programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
Assist with vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing
Support participants in developing independence in activities of daily living (ADLs)
Implement therapeutic activities to improve cognitive, motor, balance, and endurance functions
Schedule treatments, coordinate visits, and manage documentation
Track and maintain therapy equipment
Qualifications
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program (foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency)
Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant License (or eligibility)
Minimum of 2 years of COTA experience in a clinical setting, preferably with frail or elderly populations
Reliable means of transportation
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles to support participants with complex needs
