Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Location: Madera CAEmployer: Hire Up StaffingHire Up Staffing is currently seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This is a full-time position, working 6.5 hours per day.Compensation: Starting at $30.00 per hour, with higher rates based on experience (DOE).Position SummaryUnder general supervision, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will support the delivery of occupational therapy services to children. This role involves working within established policies and procedures while collaborating closely with an assigned administrator and multidisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans for students*
• Provide direct therapy services to children in educational settings*
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and support staff*
• Support students in developing functional and adaptive skills*
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with program guidelines

Minimum QualificationsEducation & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent*
• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy*
• Experience working with children (ages 3–22)*
• Experience in a school setting preferred*
• Experience working as part of a transdisciplinary team*
• Experience collaborating with families and working with children with special needs is highly desirable

Licenses & Certifications:

• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)*
• Valid California Class C driver’s license
