Job Description

Kona Medical Consulting is currently looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who will be under the TIBS for Kids client in Avenel, New Jersey.

Below are the details of the position:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients gain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide hands-on therapy and support to patients across various healthcare settings. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of rehabilitative services.

General Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence in daily activities
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist regarding treatment plans and outcomes
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Requirements:- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant- Experience working with pediatric patients- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: 45/hour, up to 10-15 hours per week
