CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies has a PRN position available for a CertifiedOccupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Three RiversHealthcare Center.This is an exciting opportunity making a direct impact through therapy.

Qualifications/Must Have’s:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education, obtained in an accredited two-year associate degree program
  • Hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License 
  • Demonstrate competency in therapy treatment, techniques, and materials & equipment utilization. Attainable productivity expectations).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Verifies client information by interviewing client; reviewing and/or recording medical history; confirming purpose of treatment
  • Helps clients improve their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations, such as, helping injured workers improve their motor skills and re-enter the labor force, and teaching persons with learning disabilities to prepare meals or to use public transportation and increase their independence
