Job Description
We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you will play a vital part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need by assembling, stocking, and distributing them with precision and care. Minimum Requirements:
- State pharmacy technician registration or license required for Ohio.
- Prior pharmacy technician experience in a hospital or acute care setting required.
- Experience working night shift workflows and unit dose/timed medication distribution preferred.
- PTCB certification preferred.
- Experience with automated dispensing cabinets and IV compounding systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a high-volume hospital pharmacy preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record medication modules and barcoded medication administration preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 2100-0730.
- Shift days: Monday through Thursday.
- Assignment requires work at a hospital facility in Columbus, OH; candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
