Pharmacy Technician
Location: Morrisville, NC Schedule: M–F 8:00 AM–4:30 PM + every 3rd weekend through October 5. Beginning October 5: M–F 1:00 PM–9:30 PM + every 3rd weekend.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to prepare prescription orders for Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role requiring accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Verify prescription information and pull medications from inventory.
- Label, scan, and assemble medications into appropriate bins accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and communicate inventory needs and maintain organized inventory.
- Remove expired/unused medications and replenish stock and supplies.
- Meet established pharmacy accuracy and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license.
- Active PTCB or NHA certification; national certification preferred.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, work as part of a team, and meet strict deadlines.
Dress Code: Business casual; scrubs preferred.Interview Process: One in-person interview.
