What is the specific title of the position? Pharmacy TechnicianWork location? Morrisville, NC Work hours? M-F 5:30p-2a, every 3rd or 4th weekendWhat does this position accomplish for the business? Complete prescription orders for LTC facilities.What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?-Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory-Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner-Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders-Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, marking used bottles and keeping inventory neat and arranged in-order-Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.-Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.-Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed.-Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.-Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as neededWhat does the ideal candidate background look like? Pharmacy experience and national certification (PTCB/NHA)What skills/attributes are required? Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlinesDoes this position require a professional license or certification? Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in NC (national certification preferred) and active PTCB or NHA certificationWhat is the dress code? Professionally casual, scrubs preferredHow would you prefer to interview? 1 round in-person interview
