Certified Public Accountant - 100% Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Accountant for a remote contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.  Must have a current CPA license. This position is 100% remote.  Pay range: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour, W2.  This role involves key accounting and finance functions, including month-end processing, account analysis, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will support daily cash transactions, the Accounts Receivable process, and help document policies.Responsibilities:

• Process month-end, quarter-end and year-end account analysis and journal entries
• Generate ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end financial reports
• Support the daily cash transactions process
• Support the Accounts Receivable payment application process
• Identify and document policies in areas of responsibility

Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree in accounting or finance
• Basic PC skills including MS Office products
• Knowledgeable of GAAP
• Proficient in data upload processes
• Licensed CPA
