Job Description

Certified Recreational Therapist needed in Montana! At AB Staffing, we specialize in placing healthcare providers in facilities throughout the United States. Our travel assignments range from three (3) months to one year and can be added to another assignment or area, giving you the opportunity to broaden your horizons and choose a different adventure. Recreation Specialist needed in Helena, MT!Job Summary: A Recreation Specialist is responsible for independently developing and supervising specialized programs that serve target populations or interest groups.

Days: 10 hrs.
13-week assignment (with possible extensions).

What You Will Be Doing:

Completes activity therapy evaluations and progress notes in a prescribed timeframe and high-quality fashion.
Conducts activity therapy group sessions and individual sessions as needed, displaying good theoretical knowledge of group principles and good group techniques.
Communicates effectively with families and outside agencies to promote referral development.
Other duties as described.

You Are Likely A Good Fit If:

Must have CTRS credential granted by NCTRC.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Recreational Therapist, or Therapy Assistant.
AHA BLS/CPR.

Pay:

Up to $2,642 per week based on 40 hours.
Weekly Direct Deposit & Benefits Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match.
