QA/QC Supervisor – Industrial ConstructionLocation: Sparks, NV Lead Quality on High-Profile Industrial ProjectsWe are seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to lead project quality operations for large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects in the Sparks, NV area. This role is responsible for supervising QA/QC inspectors, driving project compliance, reducing fabrication and installation risk, and ensuring quality standards are consistently executed in the field.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on quality leader with strong experience in ASME B31 piping systems, welding inspection, fabrication, and industrial construction. What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Control Inspectors, setting clear expectations and supporting professional development.
• Oversee execution of the Project Specific Quality Control Plan and verify compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
• Coordinate inspection planning, audits, non-conformance management, and project compliance activities with the General Contractor and project team.
• Conduct quality engineering reviews of design documentation, welding procedures, inspection records, and vendor quality documentation.
• Monitor quality trends and drive corrective actions to address recurring or systemic issues.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods and analyze quality data to improve project performance.
• Attend weekly project coordination meetings and provide updates on upcoming inspections, quality status, and critical deadlines.
• Prepare quality reports and communicate findings, risks, and improvement recommendations to management.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of overall construction, fabrication, welding, inspection, or related quality experience.
• 8+ years focused specifically on Quality Control within ASME B31 piping systems, industrial construction, fabrication, welding, or NDT environments.
• 3+ years of experience supervising or leading direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX BPVC, including welding procedure qualification and welder/brazer qualification review.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and construction schedules.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with quality documentation, reporting, and inspection tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS QC-1 Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI)
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification
• Associate degree from a technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
