CFO - Estate Management Services - Brydon Group Portfolio Company

Location: Southeast U.S.

  • (Remote + ~20% travel)Pay: $185K–$250K base + performance bonus + equity (range depends on experience and complexity of operations)Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours with flexibility

    Role Snapshot

    Lead finance for a multi-entity property and services organization. You'll handle both strategy and execution—building systems, driving reporting, and managing financial operations end to end. Ideal for a senior controller or VP stepping into their first CFO seat.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across entities
    • Own FP&A: budgets, variance analysis, and long-range planning
    • Oversee accounting, cash flow, and compliance
    • Manage CapEx planning, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules
    • Build financial controls, processes, and reporting systems
    • Support ownership and private equity partners on M&A and capital strategy
    • Develop a lean, capable finance team as the business scales

    Must-Haves

    • CPA or MBA
    • 10+ years in multi-entity finance or operations accounting
    • Experience in a private equity–backed environment
    • Background in asset-heavy accounting and CapEx management
    • Proven experience in FP&A and data-driven financial planning
    • Demonstrated success building or upgrading financial systems
    • Strong grasp of GAAP, cash flow, and consolidation
    • Willing to travel regionally (~20%)

    Nice-to-Have

    • Experience in property services, construction, or real estate operations
    • ERP migration or NetSuite buildout
