Role: Change Management Communications Consultant

Location: Arlington, TX (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • The Change Management Communications Consultant supports stakeholder engagement, change readiness and adoption for the SailPoint SaaS Platform Migration and Optimization program. This role focuses on understanding stakeholder impacts, engaging leaders and employees throughout the change lifecycle, and ensuring communication and training efforts effectively support adoption.

  • The consultant works closely with organizational change management, project teams, training partners and internal communications to ensure stakeholders understand what is changing, why it matters and how they will be supported through the transition.

  • This role is well suited for someone with a background in organizational change management who has experience supporting stakeholder engagement, communications and training enablement for large-scale technology or SaaS implementations in complex, matrixed environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support stakeholder engagement and change readiness activities aligned to project milestones, deployment phases and go-live activities.

  • Identify impacted stakeholder groups and assess change impacts, readiness and support needs by role, location and level of impact.

  • Partner with change management and training teams to define communication and learning needs that support adoption and sustained use.

  • Contribute to the development of targeted communications and engagement materials, including stakeholder updates, FAQs, change impact summaries and go-live support content.

  • Develop and maintain identity access management (IAM) specific change and enablement materials, including access change explanations, role impacts and go live readiness content.

  • Translate technical and process changes into clear, actionable information that helps stakeholders understand expectations and required behaviors.

  • Engage with business leaders, subject matter experts and project teams to gather input, validate impacts, and reinforce sponsorship and alignment.

  • Collaborate with training teams to ensure learning approaches, timing and reinforcement activities align with change impacts and audience needs.

  • Coordinate with internal communications partners to align messaging, channels and timing to broader enterprise communication strategies.

  • Participate in project and change management working sessions to stay aligned on decisions, risks and upcoming stakeholder impacts.

  • Track stakeholder engagement, communication and training-related deliverables, and incorporate feedback to continuously improve adoption outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience producing technical or change enablement content for enterprise technology or SaaS implementations, including role based guidance, process changes and operational impacts.

  • Experience identifying change impacts and translating them into engagement, communication and training needs.

  • Strong technical writing capability, with experience translating IAM, security, or access related concepts into clear, consumable guidance for business and technical audiences.

  • Experience working in structured project or program environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong attention to detail, follow through and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience supporting IAM platform migrations (e.g., SailPoint), including access model changes, provisioning workflows and post go live adoption support.

  • Experience developing change, communications, or enablement content specifically for security or compliance driven initiatives, where accuracy and precision are critical.

  • Experience partnering with technical SMEs to validate IAM related communications, FAQs and end user guidance prior to deployment.

  • Familiarity with formal change management approaches such as Prosci or ADKAR.

  • Experience partnering with training or learning teams on enablement strategies.

  • Experience supporting global, phased or multi-region technology deployments.
