Position: Channel Marketing Manager, Beauty

Department: Sales for Revlon & Hot Tools

Work Location: Boston, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

What you will be doing:

Helen of Troy is seeking a strategic Channel Marketing Manager who will serve as the critical pivot point between our Brand and Sales teams to drive merchandising, promotions, and commercial strategy for our powerhouse hair appliance brands—Revlon and Hot Tools. Reporting to the Director of MS&P and Channel Marketing for Retail, you will help shape how our brands show up with consumers and retail partners by developing and executing channel strategies, supporting and monitoring key initiatives like our universal pricing policy, informing key customer-facing recommendations, and enabling successful line reviews and joint business planning. This rolemaintainsconsistent communication loops with Brand, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain, acting as both the voice of Sales within the brands and the voice of the Brand to the field. You will embed external retail insights into business planning, guide customer teams with clear strategy and selling direction, and ensure our plans are executed with excellence to position our brands for long-term growth.

Channel Strategy and Commercial Planning

  • Support the development and refinement of channelspecific strategies for each brand.

  • Update and communicate assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotion guidance to Sales and crossfunctional partners.

  • Track and surface channel risks (e.g., price matching, promo overlap) with recommended solutions.

NPD & Launch Support 

  • Gather customer and Sales inputs to inform pipeline and new product opportunities.

  • Embed retailer requirements (pack size, margin expectations, reset timing) into NPD discussions.

  • Support Retail Execution scorecard and track early launch performance toidentifymarket issues and best practices.

  • Consolidatecustomer requests (custom packs, exclusives, in-and-outs) and assess fit with brand strategy and SOPs. Guide customer teams on feasibility and ensure proposals meet profitability requirements.

Sales Enablement 

  • Prepare brandaligned selling narratives, category insights, and recommendations for customer line reviews.

  • Participate in internal prep meetings and occasionally attend retailer line reviews with Sales.

  • Support development of Joint Business Plans by providing brand strategy, category framing, and commercial guidance.

Promotional Planning 

  • Communicate and upkeep brand promotional calendars and activation expectations to customer teams.

  • Track major retailer-specific events (e.g., Prime Day, Ulta tentpoles) and share implications for planning.

  • Analyze promotional performance and integrate learnings into selling decks and future guidance.

Annual Business Planning 

  • Provide customer and shopper insights to influence upstream brand planning.

  • Translate brand strategies into clear commercial priorities for Sales.

  • Share visibility to retailer milestones (line reviews, resets, price changes) that affect brand planning.

Sales Ops Support 

  • Audit and collaborate across sales ops and sales leads to drive enforcement of universal pricing policy, including recommendations on stop ships, processimprovementsand overall workflows with vendor support.

  • Partner closely with sales ops to help support allocation scenarios to help guide recommended channel and customer quantities.

  • Coordinate input from key teams and support alignment on allocation decisions.

  • Partner with sales ops to ensurehand offon retailer decks, coordination of line review calendars and internal meetings. 

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis 

In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $82,170- $102,712 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicableto other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
