Job Description

CHEER INSTRUCTOR

CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled

PAY RATE: $13.10 per hour

SCHEDULE: Mondays and Wednesdays: 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for teaching techniques, motions, cheers and dances to enhance abilities in cheer performance for children and youth.
  • Support the cheer manager and follow lesson plans and duties in place by cheer manager.
  • Paid prep time will be allowed for each class that you teach.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Work well with children, youth, and staff members.

  • Must be dependable and able to provide essential instructions.

  • Prior cheer experience is preferred.

  • Must be 16 years or older.

Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
