A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Chemical Data Administrator in Boise, ID!
Job Summary:
The Chemical Data Administrator supports our Global Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) Chemical Management Program by ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of chemical data and records.
This role focuses on data entry, data cleanup, auditing, and maintenance of chemical records across SAP and related chemical management systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with structured data in a regulated environment.
This is a strong opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in chemical data, environmental systems, or data management.
Chemical Data Administrator Compensation
- The pay for this position is $25.00-26.00/hr
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
Chemical Data Administrator Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Chemical Data Administrator Responsibilities
· Maintain and update chemical data records within SAP and chemical management systems
· Perform routine data entry, validation, and cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency
· Audit chemical records to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
· Identify and correct data errors, inconsistencies, and missing information
· Support chemical data quality initiatives and reporting efforts
· Assist with regulatory documentation and reporting requirements
· Analyze datasets and prepare basic reports and summaries for internal stakeholders
· Support the EHSS chemical management program with general administrative and data-related tasks
Chemical Data Administrator Requirements
- Experience working with large datasets or performing data analysis
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies
- Associate’s degree in a science-related field OR equivalent experience in a lab, chemical, or related technical environment (strongly preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (required), including data manipulation and basic calculations
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field (highly preferred)
- Prior experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems (preferred, but trainable)
- Exposure to chemical handling, lab environments, or environmental data systems
- Comfort working in regulated environments with structured compliance requirements
