Job Description

Title: Gas and Chemical Design EngineerDuration: 6-month contract that will be converted to FTELocation: Austin, TXPay range: $55-60

Responsibilities

Experience designing or supporting gas/chemical distribution systems
Strong understanding of high-purity piping/material compatibility
Ability to interpret P&IDs/PFDs
Familiarity with semiconductor/facility standards like SEMI, NFPA, ASME
Exposure to risk/reliability engineering, such as FMEA and RCA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of engineering/design experience
Experience with: Gas systems, chemical delivery systems, fluid/process piping systems
Can read: P&IDs, PFDs
Understanding of: Valves, regulators, tanks, sensors, filters, PLC-controlled systems
Familiar with codes/standards: NFPA, SEMI, ASMEExperience using: AutoCAD/Revit, Bluebeam
