Automotive Service Manager - Top Performer (Production-Driven)

Jerry Seiner Salt Lake Chevrolet CadillacPay: $90,000 - $115,000+ (Performance-Based)Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person

This Role Isn't for Everyone

We're looking for a top-performing Service Manager who knows how to run a high-output shop, maximize technician productivity, and deliver consistent results.

If you understand how to:

  • Drive hours per RO
  • Maximize technician output, efficiency, and proficiency
  • Maintain clean shop flow and eliminate downtime

What You'll Own

  • Shop production: technician output, efficiency, and total throughput
  • Dispatching & workflow: organized RO flow with zero bottlenecks
  • Performance management: holding technicians accountable to clear metrics
  • Profitability: labor gross, ELR, hours per RO, and overall shop performance
  • Quality control: minimizing comebacks and maximizing first-time fix

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience running a high-volume dealership service department
  • A highly organized, team-oriented leader who keeps the shop operating efficiently
  • Strong ability to maximize technician output and shop productivity
  • Numbers-driven mindset (efficiency, proficiency, ELR, hours/RO)
  • Confident leader who coaches, develops, and holds team members accountable
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • GM experience is a strong plus
