Overview
Job Description
- Develop innovative fundraising strategies, from major gifts to capital campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporations, and foundations.
- Lead grant management efforts to secure vital resources.
- Leadership: Guide the Resource Development team and act as a visionary for future fundraising initiatives.
- Fundraising: Drive strategies for major gifts, planned giving, corporate partnerships, and annual campaigns.
- Grant Management: Identify and pursue grant opportunities while ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Administration: Report progress to the CEO and Board, manage donor records, and ensure reconciliation with the Finance Department.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of development and grant professionals.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Proven success in fundraising, including major gifts, annual campaigns, and grant writing.
- Stellar communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing team.
- A passion for our mission and a commitment to driving positive change.
- A desire to travel and engage with our communities frequently.
