Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable, problem-solving Chief Engineer to join our Holiday Inn Express family.
This is not just a maintenance position. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a hotel running smoothly, safely, and efficiently while being part of a team that genuinely cares about each other.

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the maintenance and daily operation of hotel systems and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the property
- Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas remain safe, functional, and guest-ready
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests
- Help manage vendor relationships and maintenance scheduling
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and hotel procedures
- Support the hotel team wherever needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hotel maintenance or engineering experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
- Leadership mentality with a team-first attitude
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Positive attitude and professional communication skills
