Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Chief Estimator for our Ground Up Construction division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our highly skilled team. This position will play a crucial role in the planning and development of our construction projects, from the initial concept through to completion. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in ground up construction and a proven track record of successful project estimation and team leadership.Responsibilities:As a Chief Estimator, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:1. Developing and overseeing comprehensive, detailed project estimates and budgets from the ground up.2. Analyzing and interpreting construction plans and project specifications to determine project scope.3. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather all necessary data for accurate estimation.4. Oversee and direct all estimating teams5. Participating in bid reviews and presentations to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.6. Managing and mentoring a team of estimators, providing guidance and support as needed.7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and construction materials costs.8. Implementing and maintaining estimation software and databases for improved accuracy and efficiency.Qualifications:To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimation, specifically in ground-up construction.2. Proven experience in successful bidding and winning construction projects.3. A deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.4. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.5. Strong leadership and team management abilities.6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.7. Proficiency in estimation software and other related technical tools.8.
