Chief Industries, Inc Careers - Finish Flooring Installer

BonnaVilla is seeking a Finish Flooring Installer to join the Chief team. This position will do the preparation, layout and installation of carpet and carpet pad, and snaplock flooring in accordance with required specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform the required procedures of preparation, layout and installation of carpet & carpet pad in the home.
• Understanding blueprints, production orders and the ability to layout and build product accurately from them.
• Must be able to use staple & nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices and other equipment as required by the specific job.
• Install heat registers and cover carpet with plastic.
• Install door stops, wall type, and hinge mount.
• Verify concept quotes and specifications for snaplock flooring.
• Remove wall vents, floor register, and vent plugs to return to box.
• Remove patio door side jambs, and label Left and Right.
• Scrape entire floor and sweep.

Education:

• High School Diploma, or GED, preferred

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Construction experience & the use of a large variety of construction tools are required.
• Knowledge of the reading of a tape measure and blue prints.
• Requires the ability to layout product accurately based on the blue prints.
