Job Description
Chief Marketing OfficerPreference Employment Solutions is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer for a growing, technology-driven organization serving farmers and agricultural businesses. This newly created executive role will establish the company s long-term marketing vision, lead an existing marketing team, and strengthen alignment among marketing, product, sales, and executive leadership.Location: Fargo, ND (Remote)Compensation: $200k+/year, DOE Benefits: Comprehensive and competitive benefits packageType of Position: Direct Hire, Full Time Position Overview:
- Develop and execute a cohesive, long-term marketing strategy.
- Strengthen brand positioning across multiple products and customer segments.
- Align marketing initiatives with company, product, and sales priorities.
- Lead product marketing, demand generation, communications, public relations, and digital marketing.
- Use data and customer insights to guide decisions and measure results.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
- Establish clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations.
- Manage the marketing budget and strategic partnerships.
- Significant senior-level marketing leadership experience, ideally as a CMO, Vice President of Marketing, or equivalent
- Demonstrated success developing and executing company-wide marketing strategy
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of marketing s impact on revenue and profitability
- Experience with brand strategy, product marketing, and customer acquisition
- Confidence and executive presence, including the ability to provide constructive pushback
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience leading and developing marketing teams
- Experience in B2B SaaS, agricultural technology, fintech, agribusiness, or another complex business-to-business environment is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the Midwest and an understanding of trust-based relationships within agriculture would be particularly valuable
- Bachelor s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related fieldHow to Apply:
