The organization is committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitative outcomes through evidence-based practice, advanced technology, and a strong focus on restoring independence and quality of life in a supportive, accredited setting.Why join us?Highly competitive salary up to $140,000 with strong potential for performance incentivesExecutive leadership position reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the hospital leadership teamLead nursing operations in a specialized inpatient rehabilitation environment with meaningful patient impactFull suite of benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement plansSignificant career advancement opportunities within a large national rehabilitation networkCollaborative, compassionate culture centered on quality care, safety, and team successStable on-site leadership role with no travel and predictable leadership scopeJob DetailsJob Details / Responsibilities:Deliver executive-level nursing leadership with 24-hour accountability across all nursing services in a 79-bed inpatient rehabilitation facilityManage staffing models, FTE allocation, budget development and control, policy/procedure creation, and performance/disciplinary processesDirectly supervise 2 Nurse Managers (staggered shifts: 6am and 2pm start times, 5–8 hour shifts) and provide oversight to Infection Control, Respiratory Therapy, Clinical Educator, Wound Care Center, and Dialysis servicesEnsure ongoing compliance with Nevada state regulations, CMS standards, The Joint Commission accreditation, and rehabilitation-specific quality benchmarksCollaborate with the CEO, physicians, and interdisciplinary leadership to enhance clinical outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and operational efficiencyMaintain effective nurse-to-patient ratios (1:8) while optimizing resource utilization and staff engagementDrive continuous improvement initiatives, staff development programs, and a culture of safety and excellenceQualifications:Current unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Nevada (or ability to obtain prior to employment)BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferredCommitment to obtain CRRN certification within one year of becoming eligible to sit for the examAdvanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or closely related field required — or currently enrolled in such a program — or equivalent advanced knowledge and demonstrated skillsBachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required (unless state/facility mandates higher degree)At least 5 years of inpatient hospital nursing experienceMinimum 2 years of recent (within the last 5 years) nursing management experience including 24-hour accountability, FTE and budget management, policy/procedure oversight, and conducting disciplinary actionsSkills:Primary: executive nursing leadership, inpatient rehabilitation operations, 24-hour department accountability, budget & resource management, regulatory compliance, policy development, multidisciplinary leadershipSecondary: infection prevention oversight, respiratory therapy coordination, clinical education supervision, wound care leadership, dialysis program management, staff performance & disciplinary processesAdditional: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred), CRRN (required within 1 year), CMS & Joint Commission knowledgeInterested in hearing more?
