Primary Responsibilities

  • Attend key meetings with the President, capture detailed notes, identify action items, and ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Track strategic priorities, initiatives, deliverables, and commitments to ensure accountability and execution.
  • Represent the President in meetings when needed and help ensure communication is clear, consistent, and aligned.
  • Draft, edit, and respond to executive-level communications on behalf of the President as appropriate.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Manage front-end communication, coordination, and follow-up so the President can remain focused on strategic priorities.
  • Support scheduling, travel, calendar coordination, meeting preparation, technology setup, and logistics.
  • Partner with senior leaders to improve communication, remove roadblocks, and help drive business priorities forward.
  • Assist in preparing materials for executive meetings, leadership reviews, and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Over time, help build and lead a small support team to expand executive operations capacity.
  • Support special projects, business initiatives, and ad hoc priorities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting senior executives, C-suite leaders, Presidents, or VP-level leaders in a high-growth or complex business environment.
  • Prior experience as a Chief of Staff, Executive Advisor, Business Partner, or similar high-trust leadership support role preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed, manufacturing, distribution, or growth-oriented organization preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft, edit, and present at an executive level.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and follow-up skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Executive presence with the ability to build trust quickly and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and day-to-day follow-through.
