Chief Perfusionist (St. Joseph, Missouri)
Epic Cardiovascular is seeking a highly-motivated candidate who must be Board Certified (ABCP), looking to lead a great 2 member team! This account boasts 2 great surgeons performing approximately 200 open-heart cardiac procedures per year plus TAVR procedures. Total room time per procedure is approximately 3 hours! Amazingly fast and productive!
Saint Joseph, Missouri is an ideal location, situated right on I-29 between Omaha and Kansas City. This cardiac program has long boasted fantastic surgeons, great outcomes, and an amazing work/life balance. St. Joseph is a college town with a fantastic, stable health system!
Outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, or hiking are aplenty in this area. The Royals and Chiefs are a short drive up the road with amazing opportunities for shopping, dining, or entertainment venues close by in either Omaha or Kansas City!
Candidates should also possess the following:
Ability to adapt to a challenging clinical environment.
Must possess good communication and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to practice evidence based medicine; also to advise and participate in clinical decisions with a team approach.
Candidate must have graduated from an accredited American perfusion program and be ABCP certified or board eligible.
Must be willing to relocate to St. Joseph, MO (or the immediate surrounding area)

Estimated Compensation Range
$175,000-$190,000+ per year based on skills, experience and possible bonus opportunities
Epic Cardiovascular occupies a unique position in the industry, offering ample opportunity for professional growth through its diverse business approach. The candidate would be joining a total team of 2 perfusionists in St. Joseph, Missouri performing about 200 cardiac procedure per year.
