Discovery Junction in Campbelltown, PA is a licensed childcare center seeking aCook/Dietary Aide!This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education.
To beQUALIFIEDfor this position, werequirea high school diploma OR GED,and the ability to pass all background checks. Aplusif you havepreviouschildcare experience!
Required Shift:Monday - Friday,7:00am-1:00 pm
Compensation:$15 - $16/hour,based on education and experience

MainJob Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing nutritious well-balanced meals, that meet food program requirements for items served.
- Oversee the maintenance of a clean,orderly,and sanitary kitchen.
- Manage monthly inventory on non-food items, such as cups, plates etc. as well as all food items needed for the food service order; disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply order to appropriate areas of thebuilding.
- Request items within budget foradditionalequipment needed to helpmaintainthe kitchen andmealtimeson track and turnin request to theCenterDirector.
- Assistin the classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being anadditionalsupport resource.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
