Childcare Program Manager

Position Available in the Richmond Hill and Savannah area

Hourly Pay Range: $19-$20/per hour

Pay is determined by the level of education and years of experience. Pay increases with continued education, performance and years of service.

Program Manager Responsibilities:

Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices.
Ensure classroom lesson plans are completed and implemented.
Assist with the hiring and on-boarding of new teachers.
Work collaboratively with Center Director to provide feedback, assess needs, and recommend solutions.
Ensure adequate classroom materials.
Develop and track teacher professional development plans.
Complete classroom observations and growth plans, as needed.
Coordinate and facilitate semi-annual parent/teacher conferences.
Plan, coordinate, and assist in the execution of summer camp.
Ensure all regulatory and company policies are observed in classrooms.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Minimum of a CDA or TCC required
Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility required.
Creative Curriculum experience/knowledge required
Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations.
Proficient computer skills in a wide variety of business-related software programs.
Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements.
