Learning Grove Academy in North Liberty, Iowa is a licensed childcare center seekingSummer CampTeachersto supportour summer school age program.
To beQUALIFIEDfor this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Aplusif you havepreviouschildcare experience! This is a full-time, seasonal position.
Employment Dates: June 9th, 2026 - August 14, 2026
Required Shift:Monday - Friday
Compensation: $14.00-$16.00 based on education and experience
Our Hiring Process:

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson plans that are developmentallyappropriate usingcurrent curriculum guides.
- Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintainingan organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
- Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences duringthe month of Novemberand May.
- Provide additional supervisionof childrenduring field trips andoff-site activities.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
- Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
