Job Description
Cares for group preschool children at Prestonwood Baptist Church ("PBC") during weekly worship services, Wednesday evening activities, Bible studies, and special events.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Biblical thoughts and activities through the leadership of the class Director
- Give instruction to children regarding behavior and safety
- Provide prompt and professional care for children's physical, emotional and social needs, according to the developmental level of the child
- Participate or instruct children in games
- Recommend or initiate measures to control behavior in children
- May escort children to designated activities
- Perform sanitation duties in classroom, such as cleaning and sanitizing toys, cribs, swings, etc.
- Read to children, and teach simple painting, drawing, handwork, and songs
- May assist at greeter check in desk
- Other duties as assigned
