Job Description
Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours week
This position is responsible for:
Provides childcare services for children including personal care, hygiene, learning and developmental activities and specialized programs; plans, develops activities; prepares and maintains records, maintains cleanliness and orderliness of property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides constant care for the needs of children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner.
- Develops and implements lesson plans which are age-group program specific.
- Provides opportunities for physical and mental stimulation through inside and outside learning activities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift, hold, and carry toddlers on a regular basis.
- Duties are performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
- Work is performed in a normal child care environment where there are little to no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
