Description

Are you an experienced Chiller/HVAC Service Technician in Central New Jersey looking for a specialized service role covering Newark, New York City, and Long Island? This opportunity offers the chance to work with a niche third-party service provider supporting medical imaging equipment, where you can help grow a chiller service line for hospitals and imaging centers while being dispatched from home.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chiller/HVAC Service Technician position include:

Minimum of 3 years of HVAC service experience with a focus on chillers
EPA Certification for refrigerant handling required
Experience servicing KTT, Haskrus, and KR Products chillers is highly desirable
Strong understanding of HVAC principles, electrical systems, and refrigerants
Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on chillers supporting MRI and CT equipment
Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients regarding updates, repairs, and recommendations
Travel within Central New Jersey, Newark, NYC, and Long Island while being dispatched from home
Complete background, drug, and motor vehicle checks as required

Salary: $40-$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
