POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for security and protection of the• manufacturing facility. The main functions are security, records, safety, and• training.• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Security: Protect assets of the company. Ensure that building security• gates/doors are opened for authorized personnel only. Monitor security• cameras for unusual activity. Report any unusual activity to management.• Assist with any security issues/incidents. Initiate and document incident• reports for any abnormal occurrence in the building (including Tom Harvey).• Be sure all incident reports are properly filed and followed up on. Scan• people and their belongings before they leave the premises. Escort visitors• through the building, as needed. Maintain DVD files daily for security• cameras.• Records: Keep records of all visitors (contractors, suppliers, etc.). Log• deliveries and pick-ups. Log products / company property being taken from• the building through security. Keep list/head count of all employees in the• building for emergency purposes.• Safety: Periodically tour of the interior and exterior of the building to look for• any unsafe/unusual conditions (leaks, spills, etc.). Inform management of any• safety issues. Accountability during fire drills for employee head count.• Training: Instruct new employees on metal detection policy.• Miscellaneous: File invoices from shipping.• Various duties as assigned.• Computer skills necessary: N/A.
