The Role: Civil Construction Estimator

As a Civil Construction Estimator, you will collaborate with Project Managers and Project Engineers from the pre-bid stage through project completion. Your work ensures projects are competitively priced, contractually aligned, and positioned for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates aligned with contractual specifications and project scope
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs by reviewing blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Analyze contract language and prepare competitive, compliant bids
• Track submitted bids, review results, and refine estimating strategies
• Mentor and guide Project Engineers, reviewing their estimating work and supporting skill development
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure smooth transition from estimating to construction phase

Required Qualifications

• Prior field experience in civil construction
• Estimating experience within civil construction projects
• Strong ability to read and interpret contract documents and specifications
• Proven experience preparing competitive project bids
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
