Job Description

Chicago area firm has a long-term opportunity for ownership and partnership for a Civil Design Engineer!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Municipal Infrastructure Projects fromthe preliminary engineering phase through the public bidding process
  • Communicate with Construction Engineering team
  • Work directly with Municipal Engineers and Municipalstaff
  • Manage junior staff during the design phase

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from anaccredited institution
  • 5+ years of Municipal Engineering experience
  • Experience with Transportation and Infrastructureprojects
  • PE License preferred
  • Experience with IDOT, MWRDGC, and CountySubmittal Processes preferred
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD & MicrosoftOffice

Salary is commensurate with experience.
