Civil Design Engineer

Impact Recruitment is is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with strong technical abilities and experienced in Private Development (Commercial, Residential, Industrial) and Municipal projects. • Project Design for Site Development.*
• Grading and Drainage Plans.*
• Utility Systems for Water and Sewer.*
• Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates.*
• Design Team collaboration, and support.*
• Roadway/Streets final design package – Plan, Profile, Cross Sections.*
• Roadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans.*
• Federal, State, City and County Standards.*
• Report Preparation and Conceptual Studies.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree.*
• Engineer in Training Certification*
• 2+ years of experience in related site/civil land development engineering projects.*
• Projects experience ranging from residential, retail, commercial, industrial and municipal projects.*
• Possess local experience with private developments performing site due diligence, preparing land use permit applications, understanding of zoning laws and presenting to municipal agencies.*
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.*
• Must demonstrate a desire to learn.*
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.*
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.*
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D.
