Civil Design Engineer

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with strong technical abilities and experience in Land Development.   Focused on creating inspired careers, our client offers excellent opportunities for career growth and professional development within their organization.  The task assignments will include the following:

• Project Design for Site Development*
• Grading and Drainage Plans*
• Utility Systems for Water and Sewer*
• Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates*
• Project Management Assistance: Budgeting, Schedules, Client Care, Invoicing*
• Design Team collaboration, and support*
• Roadway/Streets final design package – Plan, Profile, Cross Sections*
• Roadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans*
• Federal, State, City and County Standards*
• Report Preparation and Conceptual Studies*
• preparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost Estimates

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering;*
• Professional Engineer License in Florida.*
• 4-8 years of experience in related site/civil land development engineering projects.*
• Projects experience ranging from retail, commercial, industrial and Municipal.*
• Possess local experience with private developments performing site due diligence, preparing land use permit applications, understanding of zoning laws and presenting to municipal agencies*
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;*
• Must demonstrate a desire to learn;*
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;*
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;*
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite applications;
