Job Description

Impact Recruitment is is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with strong technical abilities and experienced in Private Development (Commercial, Residential, Industrial) and Municipal projects. Focused on creating inspired careers, our client offers excellent opportunities for career growth and professional development within their organization. The task assignments will include the following:
  • Project Design for Site Development.*
  • Grading and Drainage Plans.*
  • Utility Systems for Water and Sewer.*
  • Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates.*
  • Design Team collaboration, and support.*
  • Roadway/Streets final design package – Plan, Profile, Cross Sections.*
  • Roadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans.*
  • Federal, State, City and County Standards.*
  • Report Preparation and Conceptual Studies.
Who we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree.*
  • Professional Engineer License in Texas.*
  • 4+ years of experience in related site/civil land development engineering projects.*
  • Projects experience ranging from residential, retail, commercial, industrial and municipal projects.*
  • Possess local experience with private developments performing site due diligence, preparing land use permit applications, understanding of zoning laws and presenting to municipal agencies.*
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.*
  • Must demonstrate a desire to learn.*
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.*
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.*
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D.
