Civil Design Engineer (Eit)

Impact Recruitment is currently looking for a talented individual to the team as a Civil Design Engineer (EIT) for our clients Glenwood Springs, Colorado office. Our client has not only committed to staffing the firm with the finest professionals available, but also has an on-going commitment to providing that staff with state-of-the-art equipment to assure its position at the forefront of civil engineering and surveying techniques in the region, including the incorporation of GPS technology surveying equipment. Duties Include: Work directly with Project Managers, Project Leads and Project Engineers to run hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and write technical reports with results, complete the companies training program for engineers, assist with preparation of detailed drawings in compliance with company and/or jurisdictional standards. Minimum Qualifications: BSCE or equivalent experience as Civil Designer. Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate acquired (or FE exam scheduled). Experience with the development of site layouts, grading plans, cut/fill analyses, stormwater management plans, drainage and piping/utility design, soil erosion and sediment control plans, and erosion/scour analyses. Understanding of AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Attention to detail, produce quality work products. Able to work well with others in a collaborative manner and/or with minimal supervision. Demonstrates willingness to learn and ability to prioritize and manage time on many projects/tasks.
