Civil Design Engineer Commercial, Life Science & Industrial Projects Locations available (Hybrid): Greenville, SC | Cary, NC | Blue Bell, PA | Philadelphia, PA | Remote in TX or LA Salary Highly Negotiable ~ $100-$140k+ (DOE / Licensure / Market) About the Opportunity Were looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a growing multi-disciplinary team designing complex commercial, life science, industrial, and mission-critical facilities. Youll collaborate closely with project managers and civil/structural teams on high-impact projects nationwidehelping shape the future of advanced manufacturing, technology, and pharmaceutical infrastructure. This role offers the best of both worlds: hands-on technical design and opportunities to grow into project management as you advance.What Youll Do

Prepare and design civil plans, details, and site components using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Perform design calculations, material specifications, and shop drawing reviews
Support the Civil Project Manager(s) and internal engineering teams on active projects
Conduct research to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
(For senior candidates) manage portions of projects and coordinate deliverables

What Youll BringRequired:

B.S. in Civil Engineering
Minimum 2+ years of land development experience for commercial, life science, or industrial-style buildings
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication

Preferred:

Experience with Hydraflow or HydraCAD
PE License (or in progress / EIT)
Project Engineering or Project Management experience

Position Details

Work Schedule: MondayFriday, 8-hour days
Hybrid: 4 days in office / 1 remote (greater WFH flexibility after initial onboarding)
Remote Options: Open to experienced engineers in Texas and Louisiana
Overtime: Minimal, deadline-driven
Travel: Occasional client site visits
Sponsorship: Not available (U.S. Citizen or Green Card required)
