Job Description

Job Title: Civil Design Engineer - Telecom (Hybrid)

Marketing MessageJoin a respected Central New Jersey consulting firm supporting critical infrastructure projects across the telecom industry. Be part of a collaborative, high-impact team where your expertise helps shape next-generation network development.

Key Responsibilities

Design telecom sites from concept through construction, including layouts, antenna mounts, and site approvalsDevelop and review construction drawings, specifications, and AutoCAD designs for new and existing sitesConduct site inspections, condition assessments, and prepare detailed engineering reportsLead and mentor junior engineers and CAD designers while collaborating across teams

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor"s degree in Civil Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or 6+ years of telecom design experience without a degreeProven experience in telecom site development (new builds required)Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction drawing standardsStrong knowledge of structural components, site inspections, and technical report writing

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with tower and rooftop telecom projects in the tri-state areaLeadership experience guiding junior engineers or design teams

Work Environment & CompensationThis is a full-time hybrid role (3 days in-office after training) with a salary range of $95,000-$100,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.
