$80,482-$107,830This position is hybrid.Interested in helping deliver infrastructure projects that directly impact Oakland County communities? The Water Resources Commissioner's Office is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the planning, review, and construction of critical drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies while contributing to the successful delivery of water and wastewater improvement projects. If you enjoy reviewing technical documents, evaluating project compliance, and supporting construction activities from design through completion, this may be the role for you.What You'll DoMinimum Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering field of study.
- Have passed Part I of the Professional Engineer’s Examination.
- Have had two (2) years of full-time engineering or closely related work experience.
NOTE: A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college, university may be substituted for one (1) year of the experience requirement above.
NOTE: Applicants possessing transcripts from a college or university outside of the United States will be required to provide documentation of degree equivalency from a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (http://naces.org/members.html). The degree evaluation will be required for application processing.
NOTE:As per Misc. Resolution #99334, a bonus will be paid to employees who are registered as a Professional Engineer or a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Michigan. Employees are not eligible to receive additional compensation for both registrations.
