Civil Heavy Machine Operators Needed!
United Trades of America is hiring skilled Dozer and Excavator Operators for civil/site work projects in Baton Rouge, LA. We need experienced professionals with a strong background in GPS equipment, civil grading, and pipe work.
Pay: $25 - $27/hour
Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, dozers, and other heavy machinery proficiently.
- Perform pipe work for water, sewer, and drainage systems, including large-diameter pipes and box culverts.
- Execute blue-top grading, base stabilization, and maintain depth between hubs.
- Conduct daily equipment checks (fluid levels, etc.) upon arrival and departure.
- Requirements:
- Proficiency with GPS equipment. Extensive experience in civil/site grading and pipe work. Ability to install box culverts and large-diameter drainage systems. Must NOT be forklift-only operators. PPE provided (returnable/reimbursable upon exit). Steel-toe boots required.
