Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join one of our client firms. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 2–6 years of litigation experience who is looking to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced practice. The role offers hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and the ability to manage cases through all stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution

• Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission

• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings

• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal arguments

• Take and defend depositions, including party and witness depositions

• Appear in court for hearings, status conferences, and other proceedings

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Assist with mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation

• Maintain accurate and timely billing records

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of civil litigation experience preferred

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

• Active admission and good standing with the state bar

• Experience handling discovery, motion practice, and depositions

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Excellent communication and organizational skills • Trial preparation experience is a plus.

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and bonus opportunities.
