Job Details

Handle a general civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution, including pre-litigation, pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial
Represent individuals, families, businesses, and municipal clients across a range of civil matters
Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other court filings
Conduct depositions, written discovery, and case investigation
Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel throughout the lifecycle of a case
Collaborate with senior attorneys and firm leadership on case strategy and development
Appear in state court proceedings as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active Washington State Bar license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience
Experience or strong background in general civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and appearing in court
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team environment
Strong legal research and writing skills
Ability to build and maintain client relationships with professionalism and care
