The Opportunity ️ Our client is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their busy practice group. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of litigation matters — including general business and commercial litigation, insurance defense, medical malpractice, probate litigation, domestic relations, construction litigation, and employment matters — while working closely with attorneys throughout the firm.
What You'll Do
- Research and analyze the law on complex issues and write memoranda for submission to a supervising attorney
- Synthesize legal research and analysis into well-crafted pleadings
- Draft and respond to written discovery requests
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear at mediations and in court for motion hearings and trials
- Interact directly with clients and opposing counsel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New Hampshire Bar
- At least 4 years of experience as a licensed attorney in a law firm setting
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong legal research skills
