Job Description

A local Civil Litigation Defense law firm, located in the Denver Tech Center, is hiring a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their team! The Litigation Paralegal will drive cases forward and collaborate closely with the team and attorneys. This is a great opportunity to grow with a boutique law firm.

Responsibilities:

Handling all aspects of the litigation process from pre-litigation/inception through settlement/trial
Intake, investigation, case management, file organization, written discovery, deposition coordination, and document production
E-filing in state (CO) and federal courts
- Appellate court filing experience is a plus
- Filing pre-trial pleadings and motions in state and federal venues
Calendaring, scheduling, and docket control

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification
Must have some personal injury experience
- Ordering medical records, communicating with medical experts, etc.
- Defense firm, but open to candidate coming from plaintiff side
Must have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience as a litigation paralegal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, practice management/billing software, and Adobe
Positive attitude & team player
Superb written and verbal communication

Salary: $75-$85k/yr.
