Job Description
Civil Litigation Paralegal
Clement, Fitzpatrick & Kenworthy Incorporated, has been serving clients in the North Bay and surrounding areas for more than 40 years. We are seeking a full-time Civil Litigation Paralegal to provide support for our legal team.
Requires a solid understanding of civil litigation statues, California Rules of Court, and local court rules for Sonoma County Superior Court as well as courts located within the greater Bay Area. Proficiency in e-filing, drafting, editing, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents including but not limited to motions, discovery, deposition notices, subpoenas, and Judicial Council forms. Strong organizational and electronic document management skills are necessary. Familiarity with client billing practices and time entry.
Minimum of 3 years required in civil litigation experience, along with a paralegal certificate or a bachelor's degree. Candidates whose resume does not reflect this will not be considered.
This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Pro. Caret Legal and Essential Forms experience is a plus but not necessary. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently and accurately. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and collaborate well within a team. Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
The pay range is $35-$42 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package. This is an in-office position, Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
