Job Description

As a Claims Specialist I, you'll be instrumental in delivering a positive experience for our members, providers, and groups by ensuring claims are processed promptly and accurately. The pay range for this position in Eastern Washington varies between $40,560.00 - $47,600.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

  • Provide accurate and timely resolution to all claims with a customer centric focus on meeting our turn-around-time goals and standards of service.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product offerings, company policies, and practices, while staying up to date and proficient in relevant guidelines and system functionalities.
  • Conduct research on unclear items using available resources, this may include external communication with dental offices, benefit carriers, and/or subscribers as needed to gather additional information.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain workloads efficiently, and prioritize assignments appropriately.
  • Project a professional demeanor and exude confidence while communicating clearly both written and verbally while utilizing established core values.

  • Prior experience in dental and/or medical claims processing is highly valued.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills and a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to stay organized and consistently meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong drive for excellence and a continuous passion for learning and growth.
